The Flash Flood Warning continues and if you are flying through Dallas today, expect things to be a bit snarled because of yesterday’s flight cancellations. DFW cancelled 550 flights altogether. About 600 passengers were stranded at Little Rock National.
Attorney General Dustin McDaniel told me in an interview yesterday that his cease and desist letter to payday lenders is just the beginning of what could be a five year struggle. McDaniel advised payday lenders that charging exorbitant interest rates on loans violates both the constitutional limit and the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. McDaniel expects many to enter similar businesses.
