Patrick Duvall is in the Pope County after he allegedly began shooting four members of a wedding party. Duvall is reportedly unknown to those in the wedding. The family of newlyweds Michael Beavers, and Melissa Smith, say alcohol and an argument over dogs led to the shooting.

You may be taking some time off, and three Arkansas congressmen are off to a big NATO meeting in Europe. Congressmen Boosmen, Ross and Berry will will be in Berlin through today and then move on to Turkey. Congressman Snyder is in Oregon attending his niece’s high school graduation. 

About 20 people had to be rescued from islands near the White River in northwest Arkansas as storms moved across the region.

The Pine Bluff Commercial reports a nonprofit group that received more than $500,000 in government funding to build much-needed housing for the poor has only sold just six homes in its 10 years, a newspaper investigation has found.
