This has been quite a week. I hope you were able to see the FOX 16 package on Anne Pressly’s funeral in the 9 PM news. It is always remarkable when religion gets properly presented, and I am not saying that the media is a bunch of commie bastards. It is difficult to understand and present theological points and FOX 16 did an excellent job of editing Bishop Philip Jones’ remarks. Jones observed how Jesus’ death on the cross confronted violence and evil in the world. It was well said and nicely presented. You can view it online here. Her employer, KATV did such a fine profile on Ms. Pressly. My goodness, station manager from everlasting Dale Nicholson got all choked up. I did not know Anne Pressly, but she must have been quite an exceptional individual.
The search for my new third job continues and I do appreciate your suggestions. This is bound to be a great weekend, but first a little news.
