My Monday Democrat-Gazette column

Marie and I got sucked in by a classic movie that happens to bear a lot on current events. Guess what movie we saw?

I don’t know if there is any way for non-subscribers to see it online, but I have updated the link in the right hand column. I wouldn’t kill ya’ to buy a copy. It’s necessary reading for all sensible people. The Democrat-Gazette is really a pretty good paper. About the only thing they could conceivably do to make it any better is to put me in four or five days a week.

Break-in and vandalism at the Little Rock Zoo UPDATE

Saturday morning 10 AM. Not many details so far. It’s just the kind of thing you hate to hear.

UPDATE: Looks like some local morons broke into some small stations that give out little food treats people are allowed to throw to some of the animals. Sure hope I got that right. Not a lot of money. No big damage. Just a bunch of jugheads.
