Pat Lynch: an Arkansas Icon (and very humble too)

Weinermobile rolls into Central Arkansas

The Oscar Meyer Weinermobile was a regular in Patfest Parades of days gone by. I am sure we all recall the horrifying collision between the Viagra float and the Weinermobile. Fortunately, all endedell.

There may never be another Patfest, but the Weinermobile is back!

Hot Dog! The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile and new Mini-Wienermobile are in town!

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile and new Mini-Wienermobile have rolled into  the Little Rock area. Only six full sized Wienermobiles and one Mini-Wienermobile travel the hot dog highways, so a sighting is something you can really relish.

This week Wienermobile will be spreading miles of smiles, and wishing everyone “HAPPY HOLIDOGS!” Come out and visit us, and you may receive the best gift of all – an Oscar Mayer Wiener Whistle!

The Wienermobile is 27 feet long and was founded in 1936 by Carl Mayer, Oscar Mayer’s nephew. Our newest edition to our fleet is the Mini-Wienermobile and is about half the size of the full size Wienermobile. There is only one Mini-Wienermobile in the country, so mustard up the courage and, ketchup with us!

Thanks to Linda Caillouet and the Democrat-Gazette for the heads up on this one. Renea Maxwell is accused of embezzling more than $100,00 from UCA’s Oxford American magazine and she is now secretary of the Pulaski Tech student government association.
