Memo to GOP: Don’t mess with the Prez

Since the departure of the not-very-beloved dictator Hugo Chavez, North Korea seems intent on filling the international need for comic relief.Yes, I know they can get nasty with the neighbors directly south, and the ruling family has invoked untold hardship on the ordinary starving North Korean. Perhaps it is possible that they might nuke the USA back to the Stone Age.The gravity of the situation is obvious and the instability of the leadership is duly observed.

Perhaps American Republicans feel a sincere need to offer advice on foreign affairs, or it might just be that they are not satisfied with the slow methodical undoing of America that is the natural consequence of GOP economic policy, but I wish they would think twice before encouraging President Obama to get tougher on North Korea.Have they ever heard of drones? This is the President that took out Osama. I’m just saying that, if you keep taunting the Commander-in-Chief, he might bomb North Korea back to the Stone Age. You might not think that is such a bad thing, and the worst part of me really wants to agree with you, but we both know better. Let’s try something completely different. How about being sensible? It might work and could even become a pattern.

  1. Butch Stone says:

Nuke North Korea and while we are at it nuke the Republicans to. These people are insane.
