(Sedate) Wednesday Wake Up on KARK TV Ch. 4

Vickery and I are getting tame and I think it is time to break out the fake chicken blood and seltzer water bottles. The winners and losers were somewhat entertaining, however.

My winner is Barack Obama, but he is my winner every day of the week (per orders from Intergalactic Socialist Headquarters). For months Vickery pounded the president over the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Bill’s reasoning was that investors were voting against Obama.

Well, now that the Dow is back over 9300, do you think Bill is gong to use the same (admittedly fractured) logic to give our president the benefit of the doubt? Not a chance. All I hear is yada-yada about investor fears and gas prices.

Bill’s winner is Bill Clinton for getting the two journalists out of North Korea. Can’t argue with that and we agree that North Korea is one dark miserable country whose leaders let the people literally starve to death. Bill also launched off on this thing about Iran and it made me afraid, but that was why id brought it up.

My loser is the goof-ball who dreamed up the idea of a tunnel from the state capitol  to the Big Mac building. Not much argument on that.

Bill’s loser was the “beer summit.” I disagree with the idea that this somehow diminishes the presidency. Racism is an important topic and we should always look for helpful ways to open that discussion. Actually, our racial misunderstandings are one of the few things that would be helped by kind words.
