Arkansans favor a government-run health insurance option, according to a new poll commissioned by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Democracy for America. It shows that 56 percent of Arkansans favor a public option, while 37 percent do not.

A majority of Arkansas citizens think the state’s economy is heading in a negative direction despite feeling good about their personal financial situation, poll results released today showed.
