RICK CRAWFORD’S CAMPAIGN RHETORIC DOESN’T MATCH RECORD OF PERSONAL IRRESPONSIBILITY

(LITTLE ROCK) In response to an investigation exposing Rick Crawford’s bankruptcy, Democratic Party of Arkansas Chairman Todd Turner released this statement:

“This shockingly hypocritical revelation exposes Rick Crawford’s approach to runaway spending: throw up your arms and stop paying your bills – but that’s the last thing we need in Washington,” Turner said.  “Arkansans deserve better leadership than a politician whose rhetoric on fiscal responsibility clearly fails to match his record.”

RECORD
“Crawford, 44, filed for bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Missouri, in April 1994.” [Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Charlie Frago, 7/29/10]
