Lynched! #32 Tues. April 5, 2011

Will Fayetteville get the finger or will redistricting wait for another day? The suspense is unbearable and that is part of the news capsule. The administration acquiesces to GOP demands that Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and four suspected co-conspirators be tried before a military tribunal at Guantanamo Bay. This is a big defeat for the Obama administration and I have some ideas about how it should have been handled. Rep. Tim Griffin is back hanging around on the Senate steps. He calls Harry Reid and the budget negotiators (which includes Republicans) a charade. Of course Griffin does not intend to include the GOP, but isn’t it part of the process. I outline the real problem – the policy riders. You will be surprised by some of them and their impact, which is to increase federal spending. The political pot is boiling at full force and if you are wondering who might be running for what in 2012, I have devoted an entire segment for such speculation. The Democrat-Gazette has a report on plans for a possible light rail line on the I-630 corridor. This gets the full Pat Lynch treatment. Thanks for subscribing free on iTunes and mentioning me to your friends and in your Twitter and FB feeds.
