Stephen Hawking swears there ain’t no heaven (and prays there ain’t no hell), why the weather is so bad, and a great interview with Arkansas film producer Tim Jackson: Lynched! #61 May 17, 2011

Today marks the 31st anniversary of the Mt. St. Helens eruption. I have some news about a former Little Rock radio personality, Scott Anderson. Sheffield Nelson has some crazy idea that the Game and Fish Commission should obey the law like the rest of us. The very nerve! Famed theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking finds no room for heaven in his vision of the cosmos. I have a measured reasonable reaction to that, and so should you. Medical costs have skyrocketed over the past decade and another survey shows that, while the annual increase has slowed, the cost of staying is still going up as a proportion of spending. A Voices page letter writer has figured out why the weather is so bad. I can not leave this kind of information alone. Tim Jackson, Executive Producer of “The Last Ride” gave me a great interview over lunch at the Faded Rose. It’s all here.
