UPDATE: Tim Griffin talks about the federal budget, and Pat Lynch makes sense: Lynched! June 10

UPDATE: Thanks to arkansasmediawatch.wordpress.com for the heads up on my Tim Griffin editing error (read the “comments” section). I did mistakenly cause part of his lengthy remarks to be repeated. This has been corrected and the ACTUAL running time is now under 20 minutes. NOW THE GOOD STUFF: Arkansas Congressman Tim Griffin is under scrutiny in this edition. He recently engaged in some Congressional grandstanding about things fiscal and, especially, the Balanced Budget Amendment. He makes a comparison to Arkansas’ Revenue Stabilization Act and (correctly) observes the fiscal irresponsibility of some other states. I deal with that and his entire misplaced argument about budget discipline, which is directed at only the weakest “non-productive” individuals. I use lots of Griffin audio and long segments. Today’s show is a bit longer than I like (23 minutes) but it is important.
.Tune in here.
